will own

the worst week of my life thus far. not good at all. waking up early to catch live football can be satisfying, but worsely, its painful and unhealthy. focussing in class and lectures became difficult, and even harder when training. There was no motivation to do work, time was not spent in the most meaningful ways. Drama Feste was supposed to be the highlight of the week, but since the show went on without any intervals whatsoever, it became quite laborious to watch. the match yesterday was another show of inconsistency. and champions league that morning, how could roy carroll allow that kind of shot to bounce so clumsily off him?

the only solace, 3B will own...soon

im a fool

Chang Wen was in top form dude. 3 goals against the J4s. Good shit i must say. I want the partnership to continue man, we have shown Mr Low what we can do together so I hope his vision clears up to see what is best for the team should not be tempered with.

Anyway, yesterday was stupid stupid stupid in the afternoon. I was in the train and called my sister to tell me that I'm on the way home. She asked me whether I brought my home keys, coz she was going out. I just said yes without checking. I was already walking home when I realised I think I hadn't brought my home keys with me. There was nobody at home anymore! Therefore i have noway to unlock the door. Shit stinks. So I sat at the void decks (where else can mats go?) and read the entire Straits Times (my first time this year!). I still had 2 hours left before my bro returned from some carnival shit. So I went back to West Mall and walked around the entire building like 3 times, stopping to watch gamers at E-zone and reading that Olympic Book. haha. I still had 1 hour to burn. So I watched Closer alone. Natalie Portman, for once, shed more clothes than a sheep could shed its wool. Hahahahaha. The plot was quite twisted not that nice i must say. I saw Shiying at the MRT station after taht. Then my mum called and tell me to get home. So after I reached home, i unpacked my bag and underneath all that pile of dirty laundry, i found one black leather wallet. My keys! I had actually brought them in my bag. Ass!

some people...

Some people live for the fortune

Some people live just for the fame

Some people live for the power, yeah

Some people live just to play the game

Some people think that the physical things define what’s within

And I been there before but that life’s a bore, so full of the superficial

X marks the spot

something is wrong.

surely.

but i dunno what it is.

there is nothing to look forward to anymore.

everything's a bore.

routine kills. there is no spice.

what future is there?

i see little hope.

no amount of effort can take me away.

so i need to fly.

Man Utd 2-0 Man City

I woke up at 11am for the third day running. I finally found my RJC RUGBY 2004 black t-shirt that has been hiding in my closet for quite a long time, so i wore it at home today. Yay but it's so tight. I wonder what Iylia means when he puts 'triple digit bench' as his nick on msn, hahaha i wonder :) actually I know but nvm. I have done almost all the homework that I had planned to do, so I guess it does not feel so bad. And I have replaced most of the stationery I lost along with my pencil case. So that's a plus point.

I think my cable tv is useless to a large extent, especially on weekends. Sat nites, what do most guys do? Football on the tele right? Yes of course. However, you can only watch EPL football if you subscribe to SCV, and more specifically to ESPN Star Sports. The problem is, I have the SCV box at home and it's fully functioning. Heck, I don't even have to pay for it coz my uncle got it free of charge when he upgraded his set for the digital tv scheme (F.O.C that's the only reason why i have that cable tv at home, coz if we have to pay, that thing will never be in my house). It's free for only six months though, after that it's optional whether you want to prolong subscription or terminate it completely. So, when it came to choosing which channels we wanted to insert into the free box, I didn't have a chance to say a word at all. The next thing, I came home and gone!, there are no more sports channels. Oh why oh why. I have so many friends who tell me that the only reason they subscribe to SCV is because of FOOTBALL telecasts. I have asked and urged my family to subscribe to only the sports channel, but they won't budge. Tonight i went to my grandpa's house just a few blocks away to catch Man Utd overcome Man City 2-0. Haha Glory Glory Man United!

OH! I still remember how i woke up one night, when I just got the SCV box in my house from my uncle, thinking it was Liverpool vs Man Utd. Oh man I was so psyched up, a match I couldn't miss. I even set my handphone's alarm on, and my brother's handphone's alarm on too, just in case. I prayed hard before I slept, that God will remind me to wake up on time for the match, and that possible Ronaldo would nick in a goal or two past L'pool. I went to sleep earlier than usual that night. Then I really woke up at 3plus a.m. Feeling all excited, I went straight to the living room, searched for the remote control and repeatedly pressed "23", but to no avail, only to see a blank screen and a sharp tone that you would normally hear when you turned to an untuned channel. Oh hell! Where had my ESPN gone to? Then only i remembered, my cable tv is here because it's free. Free.

I was the butt of all jokes from my friends the next day. :)

lcw

Okai, so we had another class gathering today. It was better than the one at shiying's house, attendance wise. Haha this time it was at Chang Wen's house, all the way at ulu Pasir Ris. Shoots man, took sucha long time to get home after that. The turnout was better today, haha it was really nice to sit around and chit chat like we did today. Wahaha, stupid dog though...hate it, it caused me to whack Jiawen with my elbow and splash the longan syrup all over my shirt. Shithead. Wtv. Hahaha good fun.

soccermorning

Today feels extremely good because I gotta play soccer with Raihan. Oh my God. Raihan is seriously the only super omnipotent WMD around. Its wonderful to get to play with him and of course the other guys... like the people on my side such as Jasmeet and his bro Jasdeed, Siva, Dedi, Chetan, Renji and the amazing dribbler Yasin. He was from the Mendaki camp...oh my such a long time ago. No wonder that mat looked so familiar. Adzfar was playing with us too. The other side was like the old RI - Hatta (former AJC Capt), Nasir (former RJ capt) and Azrul (double title winning VJ capt) and a lot of other people. Yeah, i though we would get raped. BEcause we started 9 against 11. Wth. It turned out quite good in the end, i loved the movement and the style of play. It was dynamic and swift. It was sweeter coz i scored one, and layed off for Siva another. we beat them 3-2 in the end.

Some wonderful things i learnt today "Educated players are just hardworking, they run hard all the time without really thinking, but the mats are smarter when playing, they just know it when to run and when not to, so when they run, it's really effective." Then i thought to myself, haha, correct!

Somedays are meant to be spent with doing nothing. Like today. Its meant to be a laze around day. Its not because me and Adzfar were just super lazy. We are most of the time. But the conditions are there for us to just sit around, chit chat and do nothing. That's what we did, he came over to my house today after the match. Oh my. It was wonderful, not gay, but wonderful. Just the 2 of us, the air con, with guava juice and pear bits, and popiah. On the mattress. We talked about a hell lot of things, like manjens, school work, football, orchard, class...etc. Good shit! :) Mats you too shall have this some day soon. Yeah?

cny eve

Today is the eve of Chinese New Year, no? Is the Lunar New Year a significant period of the year? Or is it "just another holiday"-break from school/work etc.?

I went to Orchard today to watch a movie with my mat brothers, and have lunch with them and Fahyik. What was amazing to me is that there are so many teenagers hanging around in town too! Wow. Okay, isnt today the eve of their biggest most significant day of their lunar calendar? What are they doing in town? What are they supposed to be doing?

In town: to watch a movie, to hang out with friends, to meet up with old friends, to shop? Anything. I guess basically none of the reasons above have got to do with being with their family. I think it's because it's just in the afternoon so they still have time after school to catch up with friends before coming back home for reunion dinner. I think it's also because it's called 'reunion dinner', so the teens purposely go away for a while before reuniting with their family at night for dinner. I think it's because Chinese are very much simple type of people, they don't really decorate their houses with new curtains and tablecloths the way most Malays love to, so they don't have go home to prep up the house. I think it's also because the past week may have been really hectic for these students and today's the only time they can spend time with old pals before dedicating the rest of the week for their family. Some could be cashing in on last minute new year clothes. Having new clothes to celebrate in is something that transcends all cultures, including Malays and Indians, and it should be promoted.

What are they supposed to be doing actually? As in, by tradition? I'm not sure. Actually I don't know. Some of my friends told me that they have reunion lunch. ok, but is it the same as reunion dinner? Oh i also heard that some of my friends play mahjong when visiting relatives. ok, but is money involved? I heard too that some parents keep an account of how much so and so have given their kids last year, so they know how much to give to the kids of that so and so this year. Is this true? Do you yamseng on Chinese New Year? And is it yamseng using beer and liquor? I saw my friend's classmates having a small yu-sheng thingy today, that looked fun when you toss and toss the stuff around. What does it symbolise man? Oh does wearing red means that you can wear anything (e.g: mini skirts, tube tops, spag straps, shorts) as long as they are red?
Just pondering...

my dream :)

monday madness

Winger Robben fears long lay-off
Chelsea winger Arjen Robben fears he has broken his foot again and could be out for a long spell. Robben, who missed the first three months of the season with the same injury, was hurt in Chelsea's midweek win over Blackburn. "It is a massive blow," he told the News of the World. "The swelling was so bad the doctor couldn't see the damage, so next week I will go back to hospital. But even now, I feel one of the bones is broken." He added: "I hate it because I know I'm probably out of the game for weeks and weeks."

Thats a mother good news for all Man Utd fans out there.

Today we went town for awhile after school. It was madness before that though. 2 of my classmates were "Cartier"-ing around at some HDB flats. They are absolutely mad. One's a seasoned pro. He says its not as nice as some other brand he tried before. The other was a newbie, he was just learning the technique, of how to enjoy the pleasure for as long as he can. My goodness. No matter how many times I have told myself that I come from a good school, clean and seemingly perfect, only God knows what is really going on. People, not just delinquents, even smart people, indulge and get 'strayed' by this kind of things. When it happened today, all I could do was to laugh it out. But actually I was quite speechless I didn't know what to say to anyone, to even myself. Then when we met up with 2 other friends, they were both quite jealous that they didn't get to "Cartier" too. Oh my. The world's topsy turvy now. Apparently it's not a recent fad it's nothing new to them. They have tried it a few times before. I thought only naughty boys would do it. I thought the more educated you are, the less likely you're gonna get involved in this kind of thing. I've heard stories before about how some seniors were constantly partaking in such activities, but never truly believed it. I saw them did it last year, those seniors, but didn't think that some of my classmates would do it too. I guess I'm wrong.

Wooot. In town on Monday, that seems like some new trend. You've gotta check out the train leading to Orchard on Monday morning. Really, more and more people are treating MOnday like the new weekend. Its their shopping time, their hangout time, their galivanting time. Us? We just ended lessons early and felt like walking around. I felt like a loser. Wtf was i doing walking in and out of trendy shops and looking at the clothes and accessories? I am poor. I have no money. I feel like a mule. A dork. A bit out of place to see school kids trying out perfumes and stuff like that. It's not as if you're gonna need those perfumes. But that's ok. Sometimes a little indulgence is good. It gives so much satisfaction, and less heartache. Just ask Matin. He fell in love with this sexy sling messenger so he just bought it. Va Va Voom coz its not cheap, its double my weekly allowance. So that just means that i can never afford such goods. Arhhhh :)

Shud we just wing it? Hakeem just thought me a new lingo. I'm happier now coz my "goodstuff" just came. Its right in front of me and i can't freaking wait to whack it. Hahaha. That pakcik who sent asked me, "Ubat apa ni?" I just smiled and passed him the money. He smells of mee rebus man. Maybe that's why he's so late.

I'm really going to save a bit more money from now on. I've got my sights set on that preppy goodstuff. I will have it InsyaAllah. :)

viva la holiday

I just purchased something online. Wahah its fun. Hope i can collect it on Monday. Ohwell. Yesterday we had a game. It was bad. One on ones were not converted and I am guilty of that. Sharpness, finishing, running angles, plus magic. I need all of the above. I will have them... someday... soon.

Yesterday was also meant to be our senior junior class get together. But nvm, nothing was confirmed. Its futile and useless if people dun care. So its alright. We had an alternative. We'd rather much spend some impromptu time like yesterday among ourselves. It was shitty turnout, but in the end, its still good fun. I think the class is much nicer and dare I say it, closer, now, apart from a few lost souls. But its still much better. Just had simple pizza, and then satay and fishballs. Not even a bbq but its still good. Shiying's parents are so accomodating, bought for us everything. Thanks shiying. I think we can have more of this small gatherings. We should change locations everytime. I think Jiawen may open up his house this CNY. That sounds gooodd. Oh the heavenly smell of bak kua and tiger beer. Yeah yum yum... Hahahaha. I am sure. Those aren't halal, but im sure his parents will be just as accomodating...halal food yeah!?

Whooosshhh swooooossshshhhhhh~

Wayne Rooney... The real beastie boy. Ronaldo was the hero on that day dude, Man Utd 4-2 Arsenal. No language is more universal than football.

~,~

today Adz and I went off at around 11 to eat at j8, then we went to pump. hahaha... to the irk of iylia and co. sorryla mat, another time, tmr likely. do until we were sore and tight. ok that sounds wrong. but u know what its like after u pump. then we went back to school. we discussed and discussed for physics spa with kevin and jian hong.. heh that was damn stressful man, but it was worth it. it turned out exactly as planned. good job guys. next time we'll prepare like this again. actually chem spa is tomorrow. i haven't even soaked my dirty training clothes, but i will soon. it feels good to blog again. but today training was king man. the speed ladder drill was madness i think, coz my thighs felt pumped. then we had to do 20 by 20 by 20. that was the most king of all exercises. then he said, we shall cool down with 10 laps. wtf. nvm. just do. shooting was horrendous today, just had no aiming no power no idea what i was going to do with the ball. shooting should be a priority improvement for me, i must get it right day in day out so on the actual day i will have no problems. insyaAllah. chem spa, lu tunggu sekarang wa sudah datang.
