GODHELPME

Post-CA2 sentiments:
Anat OK

Physio OK (in fact, more than OK!)
Biochem KO!

ARGH Biochem Biochem, why so difficult? And it's gonna be fully essay-format for Pros. That's not gonna make it any easier. Thank God for Anat and Physio having MCQs again!

Biochem, you should be officially renamed to Biocheem!

chill

CAs are over and I feel much better than the CAs for the previous semester. Can't wait for the Friday latenights with the guys at the usual place. But probably got to watch it also. Coz the Pros are gonna strike any time, hopefully with enough time for me to study and practise first.

Then hopefully, I can get through unscathed and plan for a more meaningful holiday. I think a job would do me a lot of good. Plus a drive up.

But right now, it's the OC Season 1 just so I am really chill.

SO, chill.

Still can't really believe that M1 has almost ended just like that. 1 year of medical education, so fast yet so much already taught and so much more to be learnt. We have no more lessons now. All our lessons are completed. So we don't have to go to school anymore. It's just the prep period for the Pros now and after that, if you pass, you are through to M2. And 3 full months of holiday.

But tomorrow morning, first thing, go for a run.

adipose tissue excess

Today, I found out that my body fat index was a 28.
And according to the reference range, above a 24 is considered unhealthy.
Good is around 20-21.
I'm not sure how accurate this test is, considering it measured my weight and my height and then using some formula, worked out my body fat index. May be a bit dodgy. Unlike the Body Mass Index formula.
But I sure don't want high LDL-cholesterol levels. Don't want any risk for atherosclerosis, diabetes mellitus, kidney failure, etc.
So it is a sign that I need to start running again.

Until I get to this level.
